Lecture Series "History and Social Work? Perspectives for a history-sensitive Social Work"
In the winter and summer semesters 2022/23, we are offering a lecture series at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam together with the Berlin Competence Centre for Prevention and Empowerment. All interested parties are invited!
The lectures take place once a month on Mondays from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm in the theatre of the FH Potsdam. Participation is possible both in person and digitally via a livestream, which is offered via the various social media channels of the Competence Centre.
The complete programme with all presentations can be found in the flyer.
We are delighted that Prof. Dr. Alexandra Schmidt-Wenzel from the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam will be holding the opening event on Monday, the 28th of November 2022, with a lecture on the topic "With coercion and shaming to a 'socialist personality' – A critical examination of the role of special homes in the youth welfare system of the GDR and the status of their reappraisal".
Marina Chernivsky, Friederike Lorenz-Sinai and Gudrun Perko are in charge of the programme.
