The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam implements digitalisation and collaborative projects in the context of digital change, both internally and in close cooperation with other universities. These activities are an integral part of the digital agenda, which encompasses the responsible handling of data, the modernisation of administration and the general exploration of digitality.
Digitisation projects at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam
Various digitalisation projects are currently being carried out at the university of applied sciences in the areas of study and teaching, research and transfer as well as administration. Some digitalisation projects and sub-projects have already been successfully implemented and the new software solutions are already being used. Data protection and information security are important aspects for the implementation of digitalisation projects.
HISinOne Campus Management System
HISinOne offers students and lecturers a standardised platform for managing student data, courses and examinations.
Research management with HISinOne-RES
HISinOne-RES is designed to simplify access to research data, improve the communication of research results and make the administration of research projects more efficient.
Report management system with HISinOne-BI
HISinOne-BI is designed to simplify data analysis and interpretation and improve university development and planning.
Controlling with HIS-COB
HIS-COB is designed to improve the overview of the cost situation in the area of controlling and support decision-making.
Document management system
The document management system (DMS) is used to digitise administrative processes and documents in the areas of administration, teaching, studies and research.
Erasmus Without Paper
The Erasmus Without Paper digitalisation project aims to reduce the administrative burden for both students and universities.
Collaborative projects at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam
Together with other state universities in Brandenburg and the Zentrum der Brandenburgischen Hochschulen für Digitale Transformation (ZDT), the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is currently carrying out digitisation projects in the areas of open access and library management systems.
In another field of digitisation at universities, research data management, the university is working together with other state universities in Brandenburg, a non-state university and non-university research institutions.

In the area of Open Access, we work together with other state universities to promote the publication of scientific publications in Open Access.
Institutionalisation of research data management in Brandenburg (IN-FDM-BB)
In the area of research data management, a joint research data centre is being set up for the state universities in Brandenburg.
IT framework agreements
With this project, led by the University of Potsdam and the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, the universities in Brandenburg are working towards the conclusion of various IT framework agreements.
