The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is digitalising its study-related processes. The new system offers students and lecturers a standardised platform for managing student data, courses and examinations.

New campus management system for the FHP
The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (FHP) is in the process of gradually introducing HISinOne as an integrated software solution for the management of processes relating to the Student Life Cycle.
The new campus management system combines the processes of the Student Life Cycle in one web portal. Students can access and process data or registrations relating to their study programme at any time. The new service functions of HISinOne are already making everyday university life easier for students and FHP staff.
Lecturers and examiners can also organise courses and examinations. This is also possible via mobile devices. HISinOne replaces existing campus management software modules from HIS eG.
Digital student file
Closely related to the introduction of the HISinOne campus management system is the digital student file, which is currently being implemented as part of the development of a university-wide document management system. The digital student file also relates to the entire student life cycle.
It includes the electronic administration and archiving of application, student and examination documents.
In future, the digital student file will improve the service for applicants and students and simplify administrative processes for university administration staff.

- makes all data on degree programmes and the course of study available to users for viewing and processing at any time. Services can be accessed online, for example the independent modification of personal data and the retrieval and printing of certificates and notifications.
- keeps the database up-to-date and redundancy-free.
- facilitates the administration of courses and examination dates and services. For example, HISinOne prevents overbooking and overlapping dates when searching for and booking rooms.
With the introduction of the HISinOne EXA module, students and staff will have access to additional service functions that support them in their everyday university life. Prospective students will also benefit from the new service functions. Thanks to the simplified application and admission procedures, they can easily enrol and apply for a degree programme at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam.
