Further Development of Controlling with HIS-COB
As part of the introduction of HISinOne Business Intelligence (HISinOne-BI) and HISinOne Research Management (HISinOne-RES), the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is currently developing the COB module of HIS eG.

Optimisation of the cost overview
The module will provide the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam with an optimised overview of its cost situation in future: COB brings together data from financial accounting, asset accounting, personnel cost accounting, personnel, space and student administration and research projects. The data can be called up in future via the reporting system (HISinOne-BI).
Status of implementation
The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is working together with HIS eG on the further development of COB.
The module is already in use and will gradually help to establish cost and performance accounting at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam.

- a detailed cost overview of study programmes and research projects, which in future can also be accessed via the reporting system (HISinOne-BI). This simplifies the workflow while simultaneously increasing the information content.
- easier implementation of EU state aid law; COB supports the calculation for economic projects.
- a reduction in time and labour costs thanks to the simplified generation of key figures.
