Application Procedures at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam

If places remain vacant in the allocation procedure, we will conduct a lottery procedure for selected courses of study from September for the winter semester and from March for the summer semester. Please refer to the announcement in MyCampus to find out if and when a lottery procedure will take place. Anyone who has not received an offer of admission in the allocation process or has not yet submitted an application may participate in the lottery process. To register for the lottery procedure, please use the form Registration for participation in the lottery procedure.

If you enter a service, you can still participate in the current application process. If you receive an offer of admission, you can put it on hold in MyCampus. A study place will automatically be available to you in the coming year.

Service includes: volunteer service, service as an aid worker, caring for or caring for a biological/adopted child under the age of 18 or a dependent relative for up to 3 years.

If you have received a restitution notice from us and have performed your service, please apply regularly within the application deadline (until the second allocation procedure). Submit your already received admission letter and proof of service for application.

Are there reasons that delayed your university entrance qualification or prevented the acquisition with a better average grade? Then you can apply for disadvantage compensation to increase the average grade or the waiting time.

Special health reasons, family or social circumstances may require immediate admission. For a hardship application without consideration of selection criteria (such as average grade, waiting period, other selection criteria), an exceptional situation must be present.

We will show you possibilities to continue your studies at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and to simply "take along" your achievements so far.

Generally, every degree program at the University of Applied Potsdam is eligible for part-time study.
