In the winter semester 2015/2016, there were 3,338 students at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. By the winter semester 2022/2023, this number has risen to 3,721 students.

Even more students! If we include the 306 students of the cooperative degree programme european media studies who are enrolled at the University of Potsdam, we count 4,027 students. 2,354 of our students are female. That is 63.26 %.
Origin of our students by federal state
Almost 30 % of our students are from Brandenburg. This is closely followed by 27.96 % Berliners. 42.3 % come from the other federal states.

Hello diversity! Students from over 70 countries worldwide are enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. Just under 3,000 students come from Germany. Syrian nationals are the second largest group.

In the winter semester 2022/2023, 398 international students from over 70 countries studied at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. This means that 10.70 % of the students are international. In addition, there are 25 international students of european media studies who are enrolled at the University of Potsdam.
