Essential components of knowledge transfer
FHP Mobil
The FHP Mobile is a space for innovative ideas, actions, and a platform for dialogue. The tiny house on wheels has been in use for the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam since summer 2021. It showcases the diverse activities of the university, spanning all departments and institutes, through changing exhibitions, presentations, and events.
Local Office Luckenwalde
Envisioned to occupy an 800 square meter hall in an industrial estate, this initiative aimed to foster new collaborations between the university, local businesses, the Luckenwalde Regional Growth Center, and the community. Through extensive cooperation and early citizen involvement, a dynamic Local Office was created.
InNoWest
InNoWest is a joint project of the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development, the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences. The project brings together two major transformation challenges: sustainable development and digitalisation.
Knowledge transfer professorships
Knowledge transfer is a statutory obligation of universities in Brandenburg. To assume a profile-forming role in this area, the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam has been able to appoint professors to fixed-term transfer professorships since 2024.

In the "sepulcrum" seminar, contemporary and biodegradable urns for humans or animals were designed in cooperation with the family business and urn manufacturer Völsing. In a final presentation with jury meeting at the Baumschulenweg crematorium, the best urn designs were awarded prizes.
