Since 2016, Frauke Hildebrandt has been Professor for Research and Practice Development in Childhood Education and is primarily involved in the cooperative M. A. programme "Early Childhood Studies" of University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and the University of Potsdam, which she was in charge of setting up and of which she is currently the deputy director. Previously, she was a professor in the programme "Early Childhood Education" at the Department of Social and Educational Sciences since 2013.

Since 2016 Professor for Research and Practice Development in Childhood Education, until 2020 Head of the cooperative M. A. programme "Early Childhood Studies" of University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and University of Potsdam, now Deputy Head.

EDIT – Development of dialogical interaction and participation

EDIT is a cooperative practice research program of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (FHP) and the University of Potsdam (UP). In EDIT, practice development and practice research on the development of dialogical interaction and participation in early childhood education are implemented.

BIKA – Participation in Daycare Everyday Life

BiKA is a joint research project of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and the Research and Development Institute PädQUIS®, affiliated institute of the ASH Berlin and cooperating institute of the University of Graz. The study was developed jointly and is carried out under joint responsibility. It is funded by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.
