On the 4th of May 2024, the Potsdam Science Day took place on the Telegrafenberg in the Albert Einstein Science Park. Over 30 universities, schools and research institutions from Brandenburg presented their work.

The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (FHP) presented exhibits from the degree programme Interface Design in the FHP-Mobil. Projects were exhibited that visualised Brandenburg's open data using embroidery machines and 3D printing.

Highlights included the artistic representation of hospital distribution and medical care in Brandenburg and the interactive analysis of election results. Climate postcards from the Urban Complexity Lab were also on display, visualising German climate protection aspects. A video offered additional insights into career opportunities for interface designers.

In addition to the FHP Mobil, the university was also represented by the InNoWest project. This joint project with the University for Sustainable Development Eberswalde (HNEE) and the University of Applied Sciences Brandenburg (THB) supports the sustainable development of North-West Brandenburg.
