Science Slammers Wanted!

The Brandenburg Science Slam gives scientists from Brandenburg's universities and non-university institutions a stage. There will be a science slam at each of the seven locations of the presence centres in the state on various dates from April to June.

Call for Participation

Would you like to present your findings to an interested audience? Perhaps you have been working in science for a long time and are longing for new challenges? Or are you passionate about a topic but still have no idea how to present it in an entertaining way?

All researchers who would like to present their topic or project in a popular science talk can take part.

Scientists who are inexperienced in science slams have the opportunity to attend a "How to Science Slam" workshop in advance. This workshop provides the tools for a successful presentation.

The digital workshops will take place on the following dates:

• Option 1: 06/03/ (part 1) and 13/03/ (part 2), both 10 am – 2 pm
• Option 2: 23/04/ (part 1) and 30/04/ (part 2), both 10 am – 2 pm

Interested parties from the FH Potsdam are requested to contact Julie Zwoch (praesenzstelle@fh-potsdam.de) from the Luckenwalde attendance centre by the 29^th of February 2024 with the following information

• brief personal details and a short description of the topic
• at which location/date you would like to slam (multiple answers are possible)
• whether/which "How to Science Slam" workshop you are interested in
