This training offers a unique opportunity to dive deep into the world of constellation work. We will not only explore the diversity of supervision constellations, prototypical structural constellations and tetralemma constellations, but also develop practical strategies for counselling work. My aim is for all participants not only to acquire theoretical knowledge, but also to master the practical application of these powerful tools in their respective professional contexts. Let's go into depth together and discover new perspectives for effective counselling practice.

Constellations offer the highly unlikely opportunity to actually experience and understand people's difficulties from the inside out. The special and enigmatic effect of this method is to set these difficulties in motion and resolve them within a short space of time using a trained approach. It is not only knowledge and skill that are required here, it is your own intuition that can be utilised and which becomes a reliable partner over time. The relationship to one's own self can be strengthened in this in-depth training programme.

At a glance

Like the Systemic Constellations certificate course, this advanced training course is based on a systemic-constructivist approach and is based on the "Systemic Structural Constellation" developed by Prof. Dr. Matthias Varga von Kibéd and Insa Sparrer (Dipl.-Psych.). In three modules of two days each, the aim is to deepen the work with systemic constellations in a supervisory context as well as the work with teams and in organisations. At the same time, the role of the coach, counsellor or manager is examined and the person's ability to act is strengthened. The intensive exploration of these innovative methods enables a versatile and effective approach.

Participation requirements

The training is aimed at people who are already familiar with the theory and practice of the Systemic Constellation method and now want to practise its application in greater depth. The skills must be proven. Send us your supporting documents (overview of your professional career and qualifications) by e-mail. We will check whether you fulfil the requirements and then send you the link to the application form:

  • completed university degree/professional training and relevant professional experience
  • certified additional methodological qualification (counselling, coaching, supervision, mediation, therapy or similar)
  • proof of a qualification in systemic constellations totalling at least 100 units required

Aims

  • in-depth application of supervision constellations in counselling situations
  • development of skills for solving supervisory challenges in your own counselling practice
  • practical exercises on the three subtypes of supervision constellations
  • application of prototypical structural constellations (PTA) as a tool for integrating new team members, in conflict management and in the promotion of creative ideas
  • strengthening leadership skills in diversity by dealing with specific situations in teams and organisations
  • teaching and applying the tetralemma format for decision-making situations and developing solutions
  • promoting a deeper understanding of the tetralemma format and comprehensive reflection on its possible applications
  • practical use of the solution geometric interview according to Insa Sparrer to enrich your own counselling skills

Modules & contents

Supervision constellations are always indicated and helpful when working with two or more systems in a counselling context – with the system to be supervised and with that of the counsellor, coach or mediator. "Grammatically" we work with a dual focus. As many participants in constellation training courses are counsellors themselves, their professional counselling issues are often of a supervisory nature. From the point of view of constellation work, however, there are some special features to consider here, which are taught and practised intensively over 1 – 2 days. We experience the three subtypes of supervision constellations (SVA 1, 2 and 3) and practise them extensively. The Solution Geometric Interview according to Insa Sparrer will also be demonstrated and practised.

  • application of supervision constellations in counselling situations
  • teaching the special features of constellation work
  • intensive exercises on the three subtypes of supervision constellations
  • application of the Solution Geometric Interview according to Insa Sparrer

In teams and organisations, "typical" situations and questions often arise:

  • New employees join the team – how can they be well integrated?
  • There are two or more different opinions in the team – how can we still pull together?
  • The new manager is female, young and better educated than the team – How can leadership succeed?

These or similar questions can be addressed "innocuously" with a prototypical structural constellation, without specifically addressing a particular team

Prototypical structural constellations (PTA) are a relatively new form of constellation. They differ fundamentally from the other constellation formats in which we constellate specifically for clients and for a concrete issue. PTAs, on the other hand, are based on "typical" questions or problem situations. The aim of PTA is to come up with good ideas for your own concerns as a team by looking at a typical "story" in the room. These ideas could, for example, be shared and further developed in a team development session. The PTA thus serves as an opportunity to gain new perspectives and impulses without delving too deeply into the specific dynamics of one's own case.

For the host of the PTA, there are some special features, such as autodesign and autoconstellation, that need to be taken into account. These are taught in the training programme.

  • using prototypical structural constellations: using PTA as a tool for issues that may arise repeatedly in everyday life or in teams
  • promoting creative ideas, changes of perspective and new approaches to solutions
  • autodesignation and autoconstellation

The seminar invites you to take a closer look at yourself as a constellation facilitator and counsellor:

  • reflection on the role as a constellation facilitator or counsellor
  • concepts of self, boundaries and personal space
  • strategies for counselling stability in the face of pull forces and stubbornness of systems
  • recognising and resolving transference and counter-transference phenomena

The tetralemma constellation (TLA) format is one of Insa Sparrer and Matthias Varga von Kibéd's best-known and most fascinating developments. It is suitable for decision-making situations and helps to avoid getting stuck in a dilemma. While we often remain stuck in the logic of "either one or the other", the tetralemma draws our attention to the 3rd position of "both" and the 4th position of "neither". As a format, the tetralemma is very simple to understand and relatively easy to use in organisational consulting as well as in the personal sphere. However, as the structure of the tetralemma can also be used well in large group formats, it is also worth taking a closer look at this format. This is what we want to do in this training programme.

  • tetralemma constellations for decision-making situations: Teaching the use of TLA to overcome dilemma situations
  • emphasising the positions "both" and "neither" as possible solutions
  • application of the tetralemma format
  • exercises with tetralemma format
