Civil Engineering Summer School: Free Taster Programme for Interested Students
From the 15th to the 19th of August 2022, female students can gain their first experience of studying at the Department of Civil Engineering in exciting workshops and workshops.
The Summer School aims to offer young women the unique opportunity to get a taste of the University of Applied Sciences and in particular the Department of Civil Engineering in order to inspire them to study civil engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and the associated career profile.
Over five varied days, students can gain their first experience of studying in workshops and workshops. Lecturers from the Department of Civil Engineering will provide an insight into the content of the programme. Company tours, excursions to construction sites and interesting buildings as well as the exchange with civil engineers show the diverse professional field of civil engineering. An educational supporting programme and joint leisure activities round off the offer. Experienced students from the FH Potsdam will accompany the participants and will be happy to answer their questions about the campus and everyday study life.
The programme is open to schoolgirls in the 10th to 12th grade (with the aim of completing a technical college entrance qualification or Abitur) whose strengths lie in the subjects of mathematics, physics and technology.
