Gastronomic Growth for Bornstedt: Reopening of the FHP Cafeteria

With their combined experience in the catering industry and the successful management of two cafés, Chiriac and Restelica present themselves as an ideal team that wants to invest its many years of expertise in the implementation of a modern and intergenerational concept. Under the new operators, the cafeteria is set to become more than just a place to eat. Anett Chiriac: "The vision is to create a welcoming atmosphere that invites people to linger, work and enjoy themselves, in other words: a space for encounters and communication." 
The concept includes a combination of workspace and lounge area to meet the needs of students and employees. Special attention is paid to an open space for families with children.

Coffee lovers can look forward to a variety of hot and cold coffee specialities prepared with high-quality Italian espresso machines. Guests with special dietary requirements can choose from various milk alternatives. In addition to the wide range of coffees, the gastronomic offer also includes a selection of teas, juices, smoothies and homemade lemonades. The menu offers a varied selection ranging from fresh croissants and home-baked treats to hot bowl-style lunches.

An innovative deposit system is designed to encourage guests to use recyclable containers and thus actively contribute to reducing waste. Waste separation stations will also be set up to support environmentally friendly waste disposal.

The cafeteria will be open from Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, with plans to extend opening hours during the summer months. Future highlights include a weekend and public holiday brunch for students and residents. "We want to convince our guests of our concept and turn them into long-term, satisfied guests," emphasises Bedri Restelica.
