Prof. Dr. Peter Knösel ends his many Years of Work in the Daycare Centre Training Courses

After more than three decades of dedicated work, Prof. Dr. Peter Knösel, academic director of the daycare training programmes at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (FHP), is retiring. Prof. Dr. Peter Knösel has made a significant contribution to the development and professionalisation of daycare training and has worked closely with the Centre for Further and Continuing Education (ZEW). Under his leadership, numerous specialists in Early Childhood Education were successfully qualified and prepared for the challenges of a constantly changing educational environment.

His extraordinary contribution, his scientific expertise and his tireless commitment to continuing education have left a lasting mark on the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and its continuing education programmes. We would like to thank Prof. Dr. Peter Knösel for his decades of support, his commitment and his valuable work.

The Centre for Further and Continuing Education at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam will greatly miss his expertise and his human and professional competence, but wishes him all the best and good health in his new phase of life.
