Everyone is talking about the energy turnaround. In late summer, the German Bundestag passed the Building Energy Act – better known as the "Heizungsgesetz". Stricter legal requirements and rising energy costs present companies with new challenges. The O-H-V economic region is responding to this with an information and networking event for companies.
The presentation by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Röder will focus on the necessities and possibilities of energy-efficient refurbishment (building envelope + system technology) of commercial, office and residential buildings. In the wake of stricter legal framework conditions and rising energy costs, a high proportion of heating energy should be covered by renewable energy. Considerations will be presented on the appropriate insulation thickness, the required consumption of resources and the energy savings that can be achieved. The content will be discussed, scrutinised and supplemented in a discursive exchange with the participating companies and housing associations.
