The Archive Distance Learning Programme will be presented at ARCHIVISTICA and the German Archive Conference in Suhl in 2024
ARCHIVISTICA – the trade fair for archive technology – will take place parallel to the 91st German Archive Conference from the 8th to the 10th of October 2024 in the entrance foyer of the Suhl Congress Centre. Congress and trade fair form the ideal symbiosis.
"Today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow – archives in focus" will be the theme of the 91st German Archives Day.
ARCHIVISTICA has been firmly established as the largest European trade fair for archives for many years and arouses the interest of exhibiting companies from Germany and abroad as well as trade fair visitors every year.
As the most important industry meeting place for archivists, documentarians, registrars and restorers, companies from the fields of office technology, IT, microfilming, digitisation, shelf construction and restoration/conservation present their products and innovations to the specialist audience.
The team from the Archive Distance Learning Programme will once again be present at ARCHIVISTICA this year. The Distance Learning Programme Archive and the Centre for Further and Continuing Education at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam will be on site with a unique educational programme in Germany to present four part-time and professional further education courses for prospective archivists.
The FHP thus stands for a large part of archival training in Germany and also radiates into the DACH region and beyond.

Opening hours
The trade fair is open to the public and will be open from 2.00 pm – 5.00 pm on the 8th of October 2024.
On 09/10/2024 and 10/10/2024 the trade fair is open from 10.00 am – 5.00 pm.
