- Since November 2023: Scientific collaboration in the "P³Dual" project with a doctorate on the topic of "Relational child protection - The role of children in relational help settings in the context of child and youth welfare" (project period 11/2023 – 10/2026, ongoing).
Project description: In the professional debate on child protection, it is repeatedly criticised that the children themselves are not sufficiently at the centre of interventions. My dissertation project deals with the question of what role children play in relational support services offered by socio-educational organisations in the field of child and youth welfare. To this end, ethnographic research will be conducted into the support services with elements of multifamily therapy offered by FamilienANlauf e. V. as an example. These are services that use relational approaches to ensure and strengthen the protection and support of the children in the participating families - and thus relational child protection. The aim of the research project is to develop an empirically based theory on the role of children in relational support programmes and thus to create an empirical basis for a theory-practice transfer.
