Having grown up in southern Germany, I moved to Berlin for my studies. As early as my bachelor's degree, I focussed on construction work on existing buildings, which I continued to do in my master's degree. Since then, I have been particularly fascinated by the use of state-of-the-art technology in planning in order to get to the bottom of historical buildings and to be able to react in an architecturally appropriate way, and I got involved with BIM, GIS, photogrammetry and laser scanning at an early stage. In order to gain practical experience, I was responsible for BIM management in the core refurbishment of a high-rise project after graduating (2019, M.Sc., very good, with distinction). I then moved to the technical portfolio management of a building cooperative and qualified for registration in the list of the Berlin Chamber of Architects. This was followed by three months of voluntary service, during which I was responsible for the construction management of two school buildings in Malawi, Africa. Now I am really looking forward to my new professional challenge in the P³Dual project at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and my practice partner Krekeler Architekten.
My supervisor at the FH Potsdam is: Prof. Dr. Markus Tubbesing
