Living Labs present Final Results in the Bachelor's Programme Social Work

At the end of the summer semester, students will present their results and findings from the Living Labs of the Department of Social and Educational Sciences on the topic of research-based learning in the field of social work.

For two semesters, the students of the Living Labs of the Department of Social and Educational Sciences developed and worked on their projects. 
They present the results of their semester projects from the field of research-based learning in combination with a specific field of work in presentations, with posters or similar creative methods and are available to answer questions. 
The students of the following Living Labs are involved:

  • Science communication in social media (Head: Anne-Kathrin Gerlieb, Anna-Sophie Barbutev, Prof. Dr. Judith Ackermann)
  • Diversity-oriented mediation: conflict management in social work (Head: Jenny Pöller and Prof. Dr. Gudrun Perko)
  • What does the EU have to do with social work? (Head: Prof. Dr. Arne von Boetticher)
  • Trauma pedagogy at its best (Head: Grit Burmeister-Brandt)
  • Social (in)visibility of social work (Head: Dominik Sommer)
  • Gender (in)equality? - at the Department of Social and Educational Sciences (student Living Lab, accompanied by Prof.in Dr.in Tanja Salem)
  • Migration social work in a shared accommodation centre for men in Teltow (Head: Dr. Marit Cremer)
  • Movement, sport and experience-based social work (Head: Andreas Klose)
  • Social work in the prison system (Head: Jessica Mann)
  • Political education – right-wing extremism & the social work profession (student Living Lab, accompanied by Dr. Marit Cremer)
  • Shaping cooperative relationships (Head: Prof. Dr. Armin Schachameier)

Afterwards we will round off the afternoon in the casino.
