Research project in PostDocDual on the topic "Begleitung der Brandenburger Kommunen bei der Digitalisierung der integrierten Stadtplanung durch bedarfsgerechte Werkzeuge und Methoden"
The digital transformation is both a challenge and an opportunity for Brandenburg municipalities and communities to shape sustainability transformations of the urban future. In the last 20 years, digital tools and methods have evolved to support multi-stakeholder participation in the debate on the urban future, representing a new opportunity for digitalisation in sustainable urban planning. However, these tools and methods are usually developed in individual projects and applied to specific cases. Access to such digital tools and methods is mostly through the separate websites of projects that have limited visibility. This three-year postdoctoral project is developing a concept for the integration of a tools and methods database that can support Brandenburg municipalities and communities in accessing digital tools and methods on integrated urban planning and adapting them to their own needs and strategies.
My practice partner, the DigitalAgentur Brandenburg GmbH (DABB), presents itself as a mediator between the state and the municipalities by matching the goals set out in the digitalisation strategy with the needs of the municipalities, initiating and supporting projects, and creating synergies for implementation.
