Powerdome – 360° Degree Dome Projection
The 360° fulldome projection system is a powerdome system specially customised for the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and the Urania by the company Carl Zeiss. The Powerdome system can be used to project real-time media and interactive visualisations in an immersive fulldome environment.
Utilisation
The dome projection system is used in cooperation with the Urania-Planetarium "Wilhelm Foerster" e. V.

The 360° fulldome projection system is a Powerdome system specially customised for the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and the Urania by the company Carl Zeiss. The Powerdome was further developed by the Fraunhofer Institute FIRST and the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam so that the system can now also be used to display interactive real-time visualisations.
